Sexual Harassment and Beyond:  How to Comply with the New NYS Policy and Training Requirements

As many may know, New York State has implemented requirements for sexual harassment policies and annual sexual harassment training.  According to NYS proposed guidance, all New York employees must be trained not later than December 31, 2018. 

NOTE: The proposed guidance speaks to company policies needing to be in place by October 9, 2018.  New York Alliance is aware that the state received a huge volume of comments on the proposed regs and believes that there may be changes made.  We encourage agencies to click here to view templates for the proposed model policy and complaint form that may be used to be in preparing to comply with the policy requirement by October 9, 2018.
