A Supervisor's Role: Strategies for Combating Burnout, Fostering Wellbeing, and Cultivating Quality through Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Principles
March 19, 2024 from 10:00am-11:30am
The human services workforce faces numerous challenges in fostering the emotional and physical wellbeing of vulnerable populations. Direct support professionals grapple with the emotional and physical demands of their work, often encountering compassion fatigue, emotional exhaustion, and overall dissatisfaction. Supervisors are in a unique position to identify and address these challenges but require support in identifying signs of “burnout” and implementing effective strategies.
Drawing from the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion, this webinar offers practical approaches to enhance satisfaction and tackle organizational practices contributing to burnout, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma.
Attendees will gain
