The New York Alliance for Inclusion and Innovation (NY Alliance) recognizes diversity is necessary in helping organizations evolve, innovate, and problem-solve. It leads to a better sense of community, engagement, and overall enhanced positive organizational culture.

At the association, we welcome all backgrounds, inclusive of all races, ethnicities, religions, ages, differing abilities, veteran-statuses, socio-economic statuses, gender variances, and sexual identities.

The NY Alliance is committed to making diversity and inclusion integral in our organizational structure, policies, board of directors, staff, partners, strategic goals, and program delivery. We firmly believe a broad base of participation and partners reflecting all of society is needed to be successful in our efforts to live our mission.

The virtual Executive Session will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 10:30AM – 12:00PM. It is our hope that you and your staff will join us to allow us to:

  • learn about your agency’s DEI story,
  • gain new perspectives on DEI by listening, and
  • to promote an environment where processes, decisions and policymaking ensure equal access to opportunities and resources.

The session will be facilitated by Kesha Carter, Chief Diversity Officer, Coordinated Care Services, Inc. Kesha will help us shape the association’s DEI guiding statement to advance our work in this space to ensure that people with disabilities and those who support them are treated fairly, have access to all opportunities, and fully participate.

Prior to the March 2nd Session, we ask that you take a look at the NY Alliance mission and vison statements as well as the core values, and keep them in mind as youcomplete this short, 5 question surveybyclicking here or copying and pastinghttps://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6ZFHGH7in your web browser.
