OPWDD Approved: This training meets the requirement for diabetic education of RN's contained in NYS OPWDD Administrative Directive 2003-01. This training qualifies as the annual update for RN's that have already completed the RN Train-the-Trainer. This training does NOT qualify as the RN Train-the-Trainer.

ABOUT THE COURSE: This curriculum provides essential information for working with people who have pre-diabetic or diabetic conditions with a focus on those with special needs. Each offering of this training provides a different topic related to diabetes management.
